Publication in summer 2017 on ASSE (American society of Safety Engineers) of safety research which has been done by my students and I about construction safety management.
  • I have been helping in creating new Safety management courses. Applying for Form A and Form B. Help to make sure all Safety Management courses are compliant with ABET. I am also helping in building a new safety manual for our new Engineering technology debarment to keep everyone within our debarment safe while achieving our goals.

  • Patent pending of Bio-inspired Nano coating of a Lotus Leaf effect which introduces a new theories and applications to enhance heat flow through Biomimetics coated pipes surfaces to produce five times the amount of condensation on pipes' surfaces without having to change the size of the pipes. This Bio-inspired technology increases fresh water production that could be used for human consumption, farming, and power plant and nuclear energy cooling towers. Patent pending of supperhydrophobic condenser Nano coating that will be an alternative source of water for areas that have shortage of water.
  • I have been teaching on Blackboard for sometimes. I have adopted a new idea to ask students to submit their homework on blackboard without identifying their names on their homework and exams and I have been grading all my students blindly not knowing who are the students and the students know I will not know who they are until I finish grading all the class papers. The result was a major change in students grades. Most students are turning in excellent papers and exams are surprisingly have high scores. The students knows their work is the only thing that matters. I am happy with the end result
